1. Appointments and Cancellations

1.1. We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
1.2. Same-day cancellations or missed appointments will incur a $50 cancellation fee, which must be paid before any future service can be scheduled.
1.3. If we arrive and are unable to access the property or begin work due to circumstances beyond our control, this will be treated as a same-day cancellation.

2. Service Conditions

2.1. The client must ensure that the work area is free from fragile items, clutter, or obstructions.
2.2. All small or large furniture and items should be removed from the cleaning area before our technicians arrive.
2.3. We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsanitary.

3. Pet Policy and Odor Removal

3.1. While we use professional-grade cleaning products and techniques designed to treat pet odors and stains, we do not guarantee complete odor or urine removal.
3.2. The effectiveness of odor and stain treatments depends on factors such as carpet type, padding condition, the age of the stain, and previous cleaning attempts.
3.3. Deep or long-term urine contamination may require carpet replacement or professional restoration services beyond standard cleaning.
3.4. No refunds will be issued for residual pet odors or stains that cannot be fully eliminated.
3.5. A recleaning or wicking policy may be applicable if reported within 72 hours after the initial service, subject to inspection.

4. Wicking Policy

4.1. “Wicking” occurs when deep-set stains or residues rise to the carpet surface as it dries.
4.2. If wicking or spotting reappears after cleaning, the client must report it within 72 hours of service completion.
4.3. Upon timely notice, Pure Works Carpet Cleaning will provide one complimentary wick spot treatment for the affected area.
4.4. After the 72-hour period, additional treatments will be subject to standard service fees.
4.5. Complimentary wick treatments apply only to the original cleaned area and do not cover new spills, pet accidents, or unrelated stains.

5. Slip and Fall Liability

5.1. Carpets, rugs, and flooring may remain damp for several hours after cleaning.
5.2. The client acknowledges that damp surfaces may pose a slip-and-fall hazard.
5.3. Pure Works Carpet Cleaning and its technicians are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from wet or slippery floors following our service.
5.4. It is the client’s responsibility to restrict access to damp areas until they are completely dry.

6. Payment Terms

6.1. Payment is due in full upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2. Accepted payment methods include cash, all major credit or debit cards, and verified personal or business checks made payable to Pure Works Carpet Cleaning.
6.3. Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees or collection actions.

7. Liability and Guarantees

7.1. We take every precaution to protect your property; however, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, stains, discoloration, buckling or wear.
7.2. We do not guarantee complete stain removal, as results vary based on fiber type, age, and previous cleaning attempts.
7.3. Our liability for any proven damage is limited to the cost of the service provided.

8. Customer Responsibilities

8.1. The client must provide access to water and electricity during the cleaning process.
8.2. The client must inspect the work upon completion and notify us immediately of any concerns.
8.3. Failure to report issues within 72 hours of service completion will be considered acceptance of the work as satisfactory.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state of Idaho. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ada County, Idaho.
